In Memoriam: Cameron S. Fleming
Very sad news about one of our own classmates.
Cameron S. Fleming died on December 14, 2011 at age 45. The cause of death was heart arrhythmia due to late stage alcoholism. Cam was born in New York City on August 28, 1966 to Phil and Lucy Vaughn Fleming. He attended Montclair Kimberley Academy along with his twin sister, Bryn. At Dartmouth, Cam majored in Religion and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He participated in Rugby and was a beloved member of the Tabard who will be missed by his college friends. He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard in 1994 and worked as an investment banker in New York. Cameron leaves behind three children, Brittany (13), Connor (10) and Hunter (9). An educational trust has been established for the children by Cameron’s sister and her husband. Contributions can be sent to "The Fleming Childrens' Trust" c/o Bryn and Tim Mulligan, 3 Alta Court Princeton Junction, NJ 08550.

see Rachel Dratch live on stage, Feb 15
from The New Yorker 2/6/12 Critic's Notebook
STAR TURN by Hilton Als
"Rachel Dratch, one of the finest comedic talents going, has the eyes of a woman who can’t believe what just happened really happened, and it might happen again, so she prepares for it with a jittery smile and wide-awake eyes that always end up registering terror, anyway. During her seven-year stint on “Saturday Night Live,” you looked forward to her sketches as a sanctimonious freak of a sexpot and as that prophet of doom Debbie Downer. She has the enthusiasm of a star who’s meant for the stage, but she needs a director like Mike Nichols, who could do for Dratch what he did for Gilda Radner and Whoopi Goldberg: make their weirdness hip. Meanwhile, it’s worth every effort to see Dratch in “Celebrity Autobiography,” at the Triad on Feb. 15. In it, actors such as Dratch and Bobby Cannavale read from memoirs by the likes of Burt Reynolds. Last summer, Dratch brought down the house when she read from Madonna’s book “Sex” and revealed that, while the sex with that dude was pretty incredible, it ended with a thud. The guy gave her crabs."
